International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival

Our popular G&S weekend in 2019 takes us to the pretty resort of Grange-Over-Sands; a quiet seaside town situated on the southern tip of the Cartmel peninsula.

We will stay in the beautiful Netherwood Hotel and Spa, a Grade II listed Victorian mansion house which offers the perfect combination of old world charm and essential modern facilities.

As usual, we have a fun-filled, fortey-eight hour programme which includes Friday night entertainment with Festival favourite Ian Belsey and a Saturday evening concert presented by two local G&S societies. We have scenic boat cruise on Lake Windermere and trip to the picturesque village of Cartmel, home of the world-famous Cartmel Priory and the famous sticky pudding!
