Hull is the UK “City of Culture” in 2017 and we look forward to a cracking production of “Pirates of Penzance” from the Hull University G&S Society which won last year’s UNIFest competition with an outstanding “Princess Ida.” In addition, they shared the award for Best Musical Director; they won the Best Chorus, Best Male Voice and Best Character Actor. All in all, an outstanding production. We can’t wait to see what they do with Pirates
